More information about Treasure Valley psychiatrists
Here is a list of psychiatrists practicing in Ada County. Psychiatrists are in short supply and some periodically stop taking new patients or take new patients only in limited numbers. A few who have practiced in the Valley for years have retired. Two doctors on this list only see hospitalized patients and another is not taking new patients because he will take a year's sabbatical starting in December 2007.
Some of the rest have physician's assistants or nurse practitioners with special training to handle the overflow of patients. Prospective patients must call to find out the circumstances of each doctor.
