Dr. Thomas D. McKim, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Biography
Thomas McKim, M.D. earned his doctorate at the University of Oregon Medical School. Upon graduating, he served his internship for one year at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California. After completing his residency in general surgery at Fresno Valley Medical Center, he joined the Baker Clinic in Baker City, Oregon, where he was in private practice as a board certified general surgeon for the next ten years.
Dr. McKim developed an interest in plastic surgery and moved to Lexington, Kentucky where he completed a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Kentucky. After completing his plastic surgery residency, he practiced overseas for six years before moving his family to Eagle, Idaho.
Dr. McKim enjoys his private practice as a plastic surgeon in Boise, Idaho. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. McKim and his wife are pleased that their two sons remain close and have chosen Boise as their home as well.
