Capitol Dental
Doctors Darrel and Roseann Mooney and Doctor Kenneth Baranco began their professional relationship many years ago when they shared the same facility on First Street in downtown Boise. Their passion to provide exceptional dental care, their dedication to improving the health and smiles of their patients, and their commitment to comfortable, pain-free experiences for their patients sets them apart as an uncompromising team.
It was with careful consideration and planning that they knew they would better serve their patients by combining their years of experience and skill in the combined dental practice of Capitol Dental. In 2006, Capitol Dental celebrated their 10th anniversary at their current location. Because of the tremendous growth in their practice, an associate doctor was recruited to join the team. Capitol Dental was fortunate to recruit Dr. Ryan Doyle, who shares their passion and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Drs. Mooney, Baranco, and Doyle are committed to being their best by participating in and learning about all of the new technologies and procedures being developed in dentistry today. Their ongoing commitment results in the best of dental health and beautiful smiles for their patients.

Veneers
Veneers can easily correct gaps in your teeth or with teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked. Today a veneer placed on top of your teeth can correct nature's mistake or the results of an injury and help you obtain a beautiful smile.
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of teeth. Typically veneers are designed by a dental technician, working from a model of the patient's teeth provided by your dentist.
Veneers are an irreversible process, because it's necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the veneer shell.
Implants
The next best thing apart from your natural teeth. Implants are replacements for natural tooth roots that are permanently anchored to your jaw allowing you to maintain a customary lifestyle. They can replace ill-fitting dentures and or missing teeth.
However, implants are not an option for everyone, depending on the form of your jaw. Patients need to be in good health, have healthy gums, and have adequate bone to support the implant. The patient must also be committed to meticulous oral hygiene and regular dental visits. If you are considering implants, a thorough examination by your dentist will help determine if you would be a good candidate.
Implant surgery can be done either in a dental office or in a hospital, depending upon a number of factors. A local or general anesthetic can be used. Usually pain medications and, if necessary, antibiotics are prescribed.
CEREC
CEREC is the world's only system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. Using the CEREC system, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown. For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling and less time out of your hectic schedule.
Teeth whitening
Everybody wants a bright white smile, and there are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the look of yours. Several approaches to whiten your smile include: in-office bleaching, at-home bleaching, whitening toothpastes and teeth whitening.
Whether you choose to have in-office bleaching or do it yourself at home, please consult your dentist. The problem with over the counter bleaching kits is that most often the products are ill-fitting, causing leaking whitening gel which can cause gum irritation and lessen the results. The best at-home bleaching kits are available from your dentist who can offer custom fit mouth trays to hold the whitening gel.
